How many of us do our best in this life? How many of us try to do our best for God? Has there been times it when life seems to be complicated or just to hard to try and fit in or keep on trying when there is more odds against you? Sometimes it feels so easy to sit down and Give Up and not progress in this life and to throw in the towel and calling it quits. Lets be like this player who never gave up and endure to the end even though it was hard and he set the example to his team mates. We all should hang in there and Never Give Up and give our best to God, because he is the way. God knows how we feel. He knows how he can can help us and provide the answers to any tough situations long as we do our part and ask for his help. Keep your chin up and do the best you can. AS you do your best and give our 100%, Then Jesus Christ can fill in the rest and comfort us when we need it. AS we follow the commandments that were given to us we will be blessed for doing the best we can.I know that is true. Look for the good things in life and ask yourself this question what ways has God shown his love for you? What has he blessed you with? I guarantee you if you think about you can recognize the things God has helped you with and always will help you. He loves us and will never leave us astray and will guide us through hard times as long as we trust him and do our best.
I know that good things come slow but we need to be patience no matter how hard it is. Life is tough but we all should stand up and keep moving forward we can overcome any challenges that come and we can be a stronger person inside ourselves each of us are special in God's eyes but one thing for sure Don't Quit No Matter what. Hello everyone my name is Elder Julian Gordon Pratt I WAS a Missionary for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints and I am a Mormon.

Stand together (Cattle Story)
This is a story from this book called The Missionary's Little Book of Inspirational Stories
"I like the story and the philosophy of storms expressed by a rugged old-time cowboy who said he had learned life's most important lesson from Hereford Cows. All his life he had worked cattle ranches where winter storms took a heavy toll among the herds. Freezing rains whipped across prairies. Howling, bitter winds piled snow into enormous drifts. Temperatures dropped quickly to below-zero degrees. Flying ice cut into the flesh. In this malestorm of nature's violence, most cattle would turn their backs to the icy blasts and slowly drift downwind, mile upon mile. Finally, intercepted by a boundary fence, they would pile up against the barrier and die by the scores. But Hereford Cows acted differently. They would head into the wind and stand shoulder-to-shoulder facing the storm's blast. "You most always found the Hereford's alive and well," said the cowboy. "I guess that is the greatest lesson I ever learned on prairies - just face life's storms." = Norman Vincent Peale
How can this story relate to usin our individual live? We should always stand up for what we believe, Stand up for whats right everyone has the right to their opinions. When we see somebody who feels alone or picked on go to them and offer a hand and help them up and be a friend and do what is righjt. We are never alone though there maybe times in our own lives we feel like we cant go on or succeed in this life well if we do feel that way we should realize on the Holy Bible and the Book Of Mormon because they have answers to all the questions that we may have, We should also rely on God and to do our own personal prayers to hime. How do we pray to him? Well here is how. 1. Start with Dear Heavenly Father, 2. Tell him what your greatful for, 3. Ask him for his guidence or protection or advice that he can give you, 4. and when you feel like your done always end it by saying (in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen). I promise you that Heavenly Father does listen and answers to our prayers and he always willing to help us BUT we must ask him for his help.

Happy Mother's Day
This is going to be a long post. Do read cause it will help you I hope.
I will be talking about curtain events that occured in my life from when I was 7 years old to present. That had my MOM in it because she was a huge part of my life. Still is to this day and all my other family members. Hopefully I can remember most of the events that happned so here we go...
Happy Mother's Day MOM :) I know that this post is a little bit early but I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate in all you did for me and the family. I wanted to say thank you for adopting me and taking so much of your time to adopt me and to teach me english and other things that will help me grow and learn from. I know I havent always told you how grateful I am for the things youv'e taught me and always willing to be there through the hard times I have had to endure. I remmeber the time when you always cleaned my leg because of the lizerath I was wearing and you were wiling to keep my leg clean even when there were times you didnt want to c lean it caused it were cause some pain to occure. I will always rememebr when I went to go and get Surgeries on my left leg and some of those surgeries were really frightening for me to even want to go and endure the pain from the surgies that eventually helped my leg out more. But you were always there before and after the surgeries, to tell me that things will be alright. That i shouldnt need to worry because God is in control in everything that happens in each of our day to day lives. everytime you tell me things will be alright they always will be alright cause I put my trust in the things you've told me when I was little. I still remember when everyone attended to my baptism when I was 8 years old. I will always remember that day even though I didnt know a whole lot English. Ok jumping a few years later. I remember when you and dad came to the classrooms in church when I got set apart as a 2nd counselor, and later secretary in the Deacons quroum class at age 12. I remember the same thing when I got set apart as 1st counselor in the Teacher Qorum class at age 14. You always supported me during those times. At age 16 going to turn 17 in a few months later at that time. I am sure my famliy and I will always remember this hard and tragic, sad day. Feburary 15, 2007 When dad past away from a heart attack. I will always remember the good times he spent his time with the family and that he cared so much for us. I remember when you went in the ambulance with dad and you came home awhile later. You came home and you wanted to talk to me and you were crying and I knew something was wrong. As you (mom) were trying so hard to be strong and to explain what happned to dad and eventually you told me and that was a heart break for me cause it felt like dad wasnt here for very long but you told me to always remember the good times we all had with dad during the time he was here. Ok a few years later I think at age 18. I remember when we took my favorite dog Amy to the vet to put her down because she was really sick and was old to the point where she couldn't enjoy being happy. So you asked me what I would like to do and I said it probably will be best to put her down and I said ok lets do it even though I really didn't want to. As the vet doctor was putting the medicine for her to go to sleep I remember seeing Amy was lowering her head and I just kept crying to tell her I loved her and that I will always remember the kindess that Amy showed to me and those around us Amy has always been there through are family good and hard times especially my hard times. As we were leaving the vet doctor you (MOM) said that she is in a better place and that I will get to see her after this life. A few months later I earned my Duty to God award and My Eagle Scout Award and my mom and family were very supporting through all the events. A few months later.. I graduated from American Heritage Of South Jordan (its a private school and the best school :)) I remember seeing my family there in the audience and ready to see me graduate. After the Graduation we stand around talking taking pictures and having a swell time. A few more months later. I was preparing to go on a Mission for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. Mom you were willing to help me get ready to go and you were so excited for me to wanting to go on a mission. Before I was getting to leave on Feb 16, 2011 I was with my best friend and we were walking home and I slipped on some ice and broke a small peice of bone in my left arm and my best friend he helped me get home and I was postponed to leave for my mission so I had to wait till March 30, 2011 to leave. I remember when I had my apendix sydise taken out and MOM you were there all the way to help me and give me some comforting words when the doctors could find a nice vein in my body cause I was really dehydrated and sick. My family they all came to the Hospital and my brother, my brother in law and Chris Yates gave me a blessing saying that I will make it thru the sergury and I did. Well thats the most important events I wanted to say thank you to all my MOM, family members, best friends, friends, and those that i know I am greatful for the support I have from them because they truly have been there and I always willing to teach me things that will help benefit me in later in life. Now I am doing well and enjoying my mission and doing the best I can to serve the Lord as much I can.

Don't Get Trap By Satan
This is a story from "The Misionary's Little Book Of Inspirational Stories"
This story is called "How To Catch A Monkey" BY = Elizabeth Brenner
In India, people catch monkeys by seting a out a small box with a tasty nut in it. There is an opening in the box - large enough for the monkey to put in his empty hand, but too small for him to pull it out once he grabs the nut. Once the monkey has the nut, he must let go to regain his freedom. If he keeps holding the nut, he is trapped. Most monkeys will not let go of the nut, making it easy for hunters to catch them. People have been known to be caught in similar traps - the prize in the box controls us-but we can free ourselves if we are willing to let go = Elizabeth Brenner
Do we all get distracted of what is going around us? Do we recongize the good things? Do we try to focus spending time with our families? Do we go and seek (look) to find any service we can help with? Do we do our best to lift others up and being a friend? If we do these things then we will truly be happy because its what our Hevanly Father would like us to do is being kind to everyone, give a hand or arm :) for any oppurtunitys to help others, following the God's Commandments, and doing our best to set a good exmaples and following God in our daily Lives. Sometimes Satan tries to creep into our day to day life and tear us down. He will try his best to distract us from our purpose here on Earth and if we follow him by being distracted (or be like a monkey who wants the nut) then Satan has us and it will be hard to get away. But if we choose to let go of the nut (distractions) and to do our best to follow God's path we will truly be happy. We can have more blessings from our Father in Hevan cauase he can give us everything that we need not WANT. But Satan can't to do he is a deciever and will lead us a stray. So lets stay strong and do our best to always have God as our light who is shigning our pathway. Because God loves you and wants to protect you and will always be there to help you. Remember it is us if we seperate from God it isn't God seperating from us cause he will never do that.

Tim Hurst - Running on Faith ( Never Give Up )
Thhis video is about Tim Hurst. I got this video from mormon.org. here is the link for it. http://mormon.org/people/ Why did I chose to use this video for this blog post? Here is a few reasons. I chose this video becuase Tim hass shown a big example to others that maybe in his same situtation. Tim has only one leg because he lost his left leg from an accident. Even though he doesnt have a left leg he is a firm believer in not quiting in Life. When we have challenges in our own individual lives, (and we all do) we should do everything we can to never quit but to figure out how we can get thru tough times and to rely on the scriptures and to apply the Gospel in our lives and do everything we can to come closer to God. Because he is truly the one who can help us and knows what we need. There is a quote that I heard from somebody and it goes like this. "when we get challenges we will keep getting them until we get the idea of why we get them and once you get why the chllaneges came then you will know how to overcome them cause you faced them before, keep trying keep trying and never give up". That is so true lets do everything we can to be the kind of person God would like us to be and to do our very best to follow his commandments. REMEMBER IF we give our 100% and our best effort then Jesus Christ can give his 100% and help us because he is our older brother who wants us all to come back to him. He wants all of us to be happy and enjoy this life and to learn as much as we can in this life. Always stay strong, follow his commandments and do your best because thats all God has asked us to do.

Be a Buddy Not a Bully
I thought about what I should have put on my blog for today and I looked through and I haven't put this one up yet. I like this song that you are probably are listening too. This song is called Don't Laugh at me. Why did I choose this song because it basiacally refers to bullying and that it isn't fun to bully someone or being bullied. If we see somebody being bullied don't be afraid to step in and help the person who is being bullied. You can do alot of damge to the person your bullying and it is a hard process to heal from. Remember once you bullied someone, you have left a wound in their heart. The wound can heal but the scar will always be there. Here is a couple of experiecnes that has occured in my life. So here we go.
I always remember being bullied as a young boy. This one time I do remember, when I was young (I don't remember how old I was). I was with my sister Leighanne and her family. We were at a playground of some kind. I was walking towards my little nephew and my neice because we were heading home, I think. As we were heading out a group of kids started asking about why I was missing my hands and then they started to be more persistant and I just kept walking away from them. My sister Leighanne saw what was going on and came to get us out of there. She noticed the kids and how they were making fun of me. I don't remember all she has said to them but it was basically dont make fun of my younger brother. I do remember that I had and always have a kind and loving sister who was willing to protect me and to help me. Leighanne thank you for sticking up for me during that time and through out those many years later and always willing to help me in whatever it was. I appreciate all you do. And thank you to my other sisters as well.
Here is another experience and this one I remember mostly. I was going to pick up my nephew Gabe and my neice Cora from their Elementary School (they were both in the same school). I think Gabe was in 3rd grade and Cora was in 6th grade. Well I went to the play ground where Gabe was at and I saw hime and he saw me as well. I was 5 minutes early before school went out. Then Cora met us at the playground. During that time you know kids saw me and were asking why i was missing my Hands and I told them i was born this way. Well they didn't understand that. Then it got too the point where they were making fun of me and both my nephew Gabe and my neice Cora knew I was getting really uncomfortable in being there and they both told the kids to not make fun of me and so we left as the kids kept saying mean things. I am greatful for Gabe and Cora in what they did that day. They could have easily joined their friends and make fun of me but they didn't. They chose to help their older uncle and help him not being sad. I am greatful for them and the choices that they made that day. I love you guys and if you need anything I will help as much as I can. I can't offer you a hand :-) but an arm instead. Again I love you guys and all my other Nephews, Neices, and Cousines.
I will post a song related to this next week.

Repentance
Have you ever made mistakes in your life? Have you hurt someone's feelings? Have you ever cheated on a test whether its math class or history class? I think we all have made either those mistakes or others. How do you or all of us feel? For me I feel like i got stabbed in the heart or I feel really sad or upset for the mistakes I have done. It is different for everyone in how we feel when we each made mistakes, But we need to not dwell on it. When we have make or made mistakes we all have the ability to repent and to do our best to not make those mistakes again. Sometimes it is hard to ask the person you have hurt their feelings in the pass to forgive you and sometimes they might not say your forgiven, but if you tell them you are truly sorry and let them know you will never hurt their feelings ever again at least you did your part and the ball is in their court and they can choose to hit it or let it pass them.
We need to reconize what we have done, 2. sometimes we need to be sad, 3. We should repent right away and ask God to help you through your trials or challenges. 4. Do your best to read the scriptures and pray daily for his help and guidence. Those are the main things here is what I do want to say. When you think that you shouldnt repent or not worthy well DON'T think that that is not true. That is Satan trying to stop you. Remember this you and i and everyone else in this whole world we are all loved by our Father in Heaven and he is willing to help all of us and he wants us all to come back to him. He wants us to learn from our mistakes and to learn and grow as much as we can while were here on Earth. I know that to be true and always know this that you are never alone you have angels around you fighting for you and willing to comfort you. I know that is true cause i have felt their love and comfort from them. I know you can feel their comfort and love from them as you do your best and pray to God daily. I know that to be true.

Self Discipline brings Blessings
In the next few posts I put, they will be some stories from this book called "The Missionary's Llittle Book Of Inspirational Stories"
Story
Arabian Horses Page 130 by John J. Hurst
It has been said that horses in Arabia go through a rigorous selection process. To live in this hot, desert climate, one depends on the unfailing obedience and lyalty of his horse. The horses are tested in Order to select the very best. For one of the tests, The horses are worked hard for three days with no food and very little watter. At the end of the three days they are placed next to a corral wherre there are troughs of clear water and hay. The horses, thirsty and fatigued, see the food and water and strain against the gates. When the gate is opened, The horses gallop towards the troughs. Just as the first horse reaches the trough, a whistle is sounded for the horses to return, The horses that take a quick drink before returning to their masters are eliminated. The horses that are chosen are those that without hesitancy obey their master's command and return - John J. Hurst
How can this story relate to us in our own lives? Here is how
How many of us have ipods? Iphones or any other kinds phones? How often are using them? How long are we always in tune to our devices? Wether its lestening to music or texting? Its amazing how

Its amazing how
Technology has increase throught the past 10+ years. Technology can be used for good and for bad. It all depends on the people who uses them. Even though its good to have Technology, or other devices in our lives. But thats something we should depend on throught our lives. For instance when it is time to sit down at a dinner table with your family or at your friends house. Do the best you can to not have headphones in your ears or texting at a dinner

God is Near (My 2nd song made)
There was computer issues thats why this song wasn't
on my blog last week Also this will only be half of my song.
1st Verse
When I was a young boy I was sent to an orphanage
Not knowing how to adapt to life During those six
years an employee helped me she taught me many things
in how to adapt During those years life wasn't easy in
the orphanage it was hard God looked down from the sky
above he had a plan for me to go to America with a new
a new family, a future, in a better place.
Chorus
God is near he ain't far away
God is near we need to trust him
God is near he loves us so much
God is near listening to our prayers
he's more then willing to answer them
Reason for this song = The reasons why I made this song because I wanted to have my family be part of this song and I wanted to show my appreciation for all the things they have done and without them I truly don't know where I would have been if I wasn't adopted into that wonderful family. I also wanted to let people know a little about what happened before I was adopted. I know in fact that Heavenly Father (God) had this all planned out for me and my family and that I accepted this plan. I am greatful for the many blessings that I have been given. I appreciate and love my family and the things they each have done to touched my life and taken there time to help me with whatever I needed help with again Thank You Family Love you guys.

Follow Your Dreams
This video is about a guy who is a Korean his name is Choi, Sung-bong he is 22 years old. He has lived in very difficult situtaions in his life. He was in a orphange at three years old and he ran away from there because he was beaten and so he ran away frrom the orphange. For the next ten years he bought gum and energy drinks and sold the produtcs to the people on the streets. He then he took a test called CED and passed elemetry and middle school. The first time he actually went to school it was a High School. He started singing when he was on the streets becuase that was one of the first things he liked to do and he started following that path and he went on to Korean Talent show and sang really good. So what does this have to do with following your dreams well no mater how hard life is you can do everything you can to not give up and to keep trying becuase "You Can Do It" Follow your dreams and when some people say thats not a something you should do well if you enjoy signing, playing an instrument, or anything else I say go for it becuase God has given each of us different talents and we should use the talents that we have been given becuase its a free gift he has intrusted each of us and he expects us to use them.
I wasn't much of a person who like to sing but as I have started to make some songs within this past few months almost 2 years. I have started to have a desire to want to go on a music cuareer path because its something I enjoy doing and I noticed its a way that Heveanly Father is helping me get through the hard times. When I start thinking of the words to write for my songs, I know the words our coming from Heveanly Father becuase the words are not the words that I can just pop out of my head. I want to let others know about the songs and I hope that there reading it and how God is truly there for all of us and wants us to suceed in this life. As long as we do our part God will give us blessings that we need and in Doctrine and Covenants 130 verse 20, 21 it says
20 There is a law, irrevocably decreed in heaven before the foundations of this world, upon which all blessings are predicated—
21 And when we obtain any blessing from God, it is by obedience to that law upon which it is predicated.

My Mission For The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints
Missionary work is not easy but it is a joyful experience at the same time. It takes all of our strenghth, our time, sacrafice and a willingness to serve our Lord. I have been out almost a year now. I also have noticed the difference and that I'm starting to realize in what kind of person God reccommends me to be. When it comes to preparing to go on a Mission. Like what President Thomas S. monson (President for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints) He says that we need to be worthy and that is so true if were not worthy how can we have the spirit with us? The answer is we cant have the spirit with us if were not worthy. I urge all young men and young women to prepare themselves to be ready to have the oppurtunity to go on a Mission. Here is some of the ways that has helped me to prepare to go. (1) start savig and ptting some money aside for your mission, (2) read and study the scriptures both the Holy Bible and The Book Of Mormon. (3) Read and study the PMG (Preach My Gospel) that will have the answers of how to be a missionary and the things that are talked about in there can help you work with members, and many other things i there can help. (3) Always do your best to seek guidence from our Heveanly Father and always him for the blessings he has given you. Don't forget to pray to him becuase I promise you he listens and he will answers to whatever questions that you have and they will be answerd in his way and his time we just need to be patience. (4) "Don't Give Up" and keep presssing forward and cling to the Gospel and be an example to others around you and give service to those that may need some help.
These our some of the things that hlped me before I left. I know by deciding to go on a mission Satan (Devil will do everything he can to stop you. before I left and after I made the choice to go on Mission. satn decide to put some trials in my way and two of those trials were (1) I was with my best friend Spencer and some of his friends we were all walking home from his friends house. I was walking along the sidewalk a dog came up and i slipped over a pile of snow which i thought it was snow but there was ice underneath and I feel and as I was falling my left arm swung out to try and catch myself instead it got caught on a chainling fence and the fence pulled my arm back and I broke a small peice of bone in My arm. (2) I had a penecidence taken out I was not feeling good the night before I went to the ER and so I went to the Er and they said I came in just in time cuase if I didnt the penicidence will soon have explode inside me. So even with these two major obstacles that came my way i was delyed 6 weeks I would Have left February 16, 2011 but instead I left March 30, 2011. So during these hard times I feel like my Faith and Testimony has grown tremendious becauee it just shows when ever something spiritual experience is about to happen Every time Satan will come before or right after the Spiritual experience to take us down but we eed to "stand back up and keep pressing (moving) forward no matter what it takes. I know that the things I have said are true and that we need to realying on or Father in Hevean for his help becuae we truly can't face our trials alone. I know as long as we do our part and give our 100% then Jesus Christ can give his 100% and help us out becuase he truly cares about us and wants us to do everything we can to keep the comandments. So Don't Give Up no matter how hard things get.

We Can Live With God Again.
This life is a journey we have obstacles that we need to overcome. We have many things we should learn from. We should be greatful for the oppurtunity to be here and to learn and grow. When we die it is not the END, for death is just the begining of a new future. When we lose somebody that we truly care about, and I agree it is hard to lose somebody but rest assure that you will see that person again because we God has a plan and its called The Plan Of Salvation. This means that when we past on from this life we will go to Heaven and see our family members that past on before us and it will be a great time to be with our family again. How sweet is that Heavenly father loves us and that he wants all of us to come back to him. Here is a scripture concerning about what happens to us after we die. Its in The Book Of Mormon Another Testament Of Jesus Christ.
Alma Chapter 40 Verse 11, 12.
Here is the link to more of the scrptures http://lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/40.12?lang=eng#11
11 Now, concerning the state of the soul between death and the resurrection—Behold, it has been made known unto me by an angel, that the spirits of all men, as soon as they are departed from this mortal body, yea, the spirits of all men, whether they be good or evil, are taken home to that God who gave them life.
12 And then shall it come to pass, that the spirits of those who are righteous are received into a state of happiness, which is called paradise, a state of rest, a state of peace, where they shall rest from all their troubles and from all care, and sorrow.

Footprints

"One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that at times of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that these were the lowest and saddest times in his life. This bothered him, and he asked the lord "You said that once I decided to follow You, You'd walk with me all the way. But during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. Why, when I needed You most, did you You leave me?" The Lord replied , "My son, I love you and would never leave you. During those times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it is then that I was carrying you."

My Brother Joseph Briskey
I have an older brother in my family his name is Joseph (we call him Joe) Briskey. He was hit by a pickup truck when he was three years old. From being hit he has brain damage in most of his brain. He was in the hospital for along time and it was to the point that he wouldnt make it but it wasnt time for him to leave his mortal body. But after along time recovery he is alot better and he had to re learn alot of things like the basic things like how to brush your teeth wash your hair and other basic needs. Joe has come a long way and he has accomplished so many challenges and I have seen him the things he has overcome and it is so remarkable and how he can still function even though he has limitations. he can play the banjo, drums, hurmonica, the super nentendo game system, and the wii. He can aslso sing to the songs from his cd players and he seems to know most of the songs. Even though Joe has limitations that doesnt stop him from wanting to keep trying he doesnt quit and when he sets his eyes on knowing the songs or playing a different instrument he will try his best and accomplish that challeneg even when he has to do a different way in accomplishing that task.
I have had numerious oppurtunitys to help him and to have fun with my older brother. He has a darrt board and we sometimes play that I am not too great at it but he is good and sometimes or almost everytime he beats me but we have fun. We sometimes work on a puzzle set that he mght need help with but most of the time he can do it he has a lot of puzzle sets and its awesome to see how he gets them finished with a puzzle set. Joe is also a missionary for the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints as well he is a service missioanry and he works at the Bishop Store House. I also volunteered there before and I worked along side with my brother we bag apples oranges and othere vegetables. I know that Joe is a very special person and he is so loving and caring towards our family I appreciate the example he has set for me and othere family members. Joe keep up the good work and don't let anyone get you upset you know who you are and you are never alone you have me and your family who love you and will always help you when you need it Joe I will see you when I am released as a missionary and stay strong and stay true love you bro.

Merry Christmas
In just a couple of days it will be my first time having Christmas in my misison instead of not being home with my family. I am a little sad about not being home for Christmas but I know being here in Rochester New York Mission for two years of my life and for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints is more important becuase its what my family, my father, and our Heavenly Father would want me to do. I have always loved Christmas becuase I get to spent time with my family and remember all those memories that I can always ponder and think about. I am greatful for my family and letting me be adopted to this wonderful family that I will always have and get to be with them after this life becuase we are sealed as a family through the proper preisthood authority that has been passed down from Jesus Christ to our modern day prophet. I hope everyone has awesome holidays and let us all be thankful for the many blessings we have recieved from our Father in Heaven. I know that as along as we keep trying to do our best and to keep going with Faith in Jesus Christ we can truly be happy and to always have the spirit with us. Merry Christmas Everyone

"Never Feel Unworthy to pray"
"Never Feel Unworthy to pray" By Richard G. Scott
Should you ever feel distanced from our Father, it could be for many reasons. Whatever the cause, as you continue to plead for help, He will guide you to do that which will restore your confidence that he is near. Pray even when you have no desire to pray. Sometimes, like a child, you may misbehave and feel you cannot approach your Father with a problem. That is when you most need to pray. Never feel you are too unworthy to pray.
I know that what you have read here from Richard G. Scott is true that we need to make sure that before we get out of bed and before we go to sleep at night time we need to make sure we have our own personal prayers to our Heavenly Father and during those times when we pray to him we should include our gratitude and thank him for the things he has provided for us. We should express to our Heavenly Father our worries and concerns and we really should open up to him he knows whats best for us and he knows how to help us. He already knows what we are about to say but he always is there at the door kncoking but its our choice if we will "open the door to let him in" and accpet his help he has for us. I know that God does listen and answers to our prayers. Sometimes answers don't come right away but they do come and we need to be ready to accpet the answers we are given. I encourage those who think they are not worthy to pray to take my challenge and pray to our Heavenly Father and I guranteed you he is going to listen to you and answer all the questions you will have and I know this will happen becuasee it has happned to me before.

Go towards the Lighthouse
Have you ever seen a lighthouse or what its purpose? Why is it so tall and really really bright? Its purpose is to guide all the ships safely back to the shipyards or the loading docks Without the ships getting damaged on the way to the loading docks. When we all face trials or challenges and we all do we need to make sure that we "Don't Give Up" on ourselves no matter how hard life is. We need to find our own lighthouse in ourselves and some of the ways we can find our Lighthouse is by letting Heavenly Father to be involved in our lives, going to church, following all God's commandments, and do our best to follow our older brother and our Savior Jesus Christ because he has made a way for all of us to come back to him and to have Eternal Life after we depart from this mortal Earth. Here is a quote from our
President Thomas S. Monson. He is the President of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints.
Seek the Lighthouse of the Lord - Thomas S. Monson
Whenver we are inclined to feel burden down with the blows of Life, let us remember that others have passed the same way, have endured, and then have overcome. When we have done all that we are able, we can rely on God's promised help. You have access to the Lighthouse of the Lord. There is no fog so dense, no night so dark, no mariner so lost, no gale strong as to render useless the Lighthouse of the Lord. It beckons through the storms of Life. It seems to call This way to safety; This way to home.
It is so true that we can keep going thru life no matter how hard it is here is another quote from the same person President Thomas S. Monson he said - Remember that someone always cares = At times some may think that no one cares -- but someone always cares ! Your Heavenly Father will not leave you to struggle alone, but stands ever ready to help.
We need to make sure that we need to keep going through life and to keep our chin ups and fight through our trials and to have courage to keep going and allowing God to help us because he knows who we truly are and he knows everything about us and Heavenly father should be our destination and to allow him to help us.
I know that life can be hard at times and it may seem overwhelming to achieve. But "Don't Give Up" no matter what. I know God lives I haven't seen him but I have felt peace in my heart and in my mind. I know he cares about us and God never separates from us it is us that chooses to be away from him so let us all be "strong of good cheer" and to press forward with faith and courage let us all do everything we can to allow the Gospel, and to read our Holy Bible and the Book Of Mormon let us apply these things in our lives by doing so I guaranteed you can be happier every day and feel the spirit guiding you through your daily lives.
