Meant2B - Help Each Other Out

I didn't make this song I wished I did. This song is the songs I like to make. Anyways let us all help each other out through the up(s) and down(s) in life. Stand up for those who may seem like they or he or she can't stand up for themselves.

About Me

My photo
Hello my name is Elder Julian Gordon Pratt. I was born in Romania in Eastern Europe. I am 25 yrs old. When I turned 6 1/2 years old I was adopted and came to America and I have been living here since. When I was born I was born without any hands so I have small stubbs or almost an arms length and so I had to adapt to life and figure out ways to live especially I had to learn English. I can type between 37-42 WPM (Words Per Minute) I love to play soccer, (my favorite sport), Basketball, and Dodge ball. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and my family members. I am in New York Rochester Mission, to serve the Lord the best I can for two years. I am a Missionary for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints and I am greatful that the Lord has allowed me to be part of the Missionary work and to have the oppurtunity to help anyone who has a desire to wanting to learn about God and the wonderful things he is and has been helping them wether it is getting through trials or overcoming hardships. I am greatful God is allowing me to represent as Jesus Christ and to help many people just like how Jesus Christ has helped many people when he was on the Earrth.

My Brother Joseph Briskey

I have an older brother in my family his name is Joseph (we call him Joe) Briskey. He was hit by a pickup truck when he was three years old. From being hit he has brain damage in most of his brain. He was in the hospital for along time and it was to the point that he wouldnt make it but it wasnt time for him to leave his mortal body. But after along time recovery he is alot better and he had to re learn alot of things like the basic things like how to brush your teeth wash your hair and other basic needs. Joe has come a long way and he has accomplished so many challenges and I have seen him the things he has overcome and it is so remarkable and how he can still function even though he has limitations. he can play the banjo, drums, hurmonica, the super nentendo game system, and the wii. He can aslso sing to the songs from his cd players and he seems to know most of the songs. Even though Joe has limitations that doesnt stop him from wanting to keep trying he doesnt quit and when he sets his eyes on knowing the songs or playing a different instrument he will try his best and accomplish that challeneg even when he has to do a different way in accomplishing that task.

I have had numerious oppurtunitys to help him and to have fun with my older brother. He has a darrt board and we sometimes play that I am not too great at it but he is good and sometimes or almost everytime he beats me but we have fun. We sometimes work on a puzzle set that he mght need help with but most of the time he can do it he has a lot of puzzle sets and its awesome to see how he gets them finished with a puzzle set. Joe is also a missionary for the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints as well he is a service missioanry and he works at the Bishop Store House. I also volunteered there before and I worked along side with my brother we bag apples oranges and othere vegetables. I know that Joe is a very special person and he is so loving and caring towards our family I appreciate the example he has set for me and othere family members. Joe keep up the good work and don't let anyone get you upset you know who you are and you are never alone you have me and your family who love you and will always help you when you need it Joe I will see you when I am released as a missionary and stay strong and stay true love you bro.

Merry Christmas

In just a couple of days it will be my first time having Christmas in my misison instead of not being home with my family. I am a little sad about not being home for Christmas but I know being here in Rochester New York Mission for two years of my life and for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints is more important becuase its what my family, my father, and our Heavenly Father would want me to do. I have always loved Christmas becuase I get to spent time with my family and remember all those memories that I can always ponder and think about. I am greatful for my family and letting me be adopted to this wonderful family that I will always have and get to be with them after this life becuase we are sealed as a family through the proper preisthood authority that has been passed down from Jesus Christ to our modern day prophet. I hope everyone has awesome holidays and let us all be thankful for the many blessings we have recieved from our Father in Heaven. I know that as along as we keep trying to do our best and to keep going with Faith in Jesus Christ we can truly be happy and to always have the spirit with us. Merry Christmas Everyone

"Never Feel Unworthy to pray"

"Never Feel Unworthy to pray" By Richard G. Scott

Should you ever feel distanced from our Father, it could be for many reasons. Whatever the cause, as you continue to plead for help, He will guide you to do that which will restore your confidence that he is near. Pray even when you have no desire to pray. Sometimes, like a child, you may misbehave and feel you cannot approach your Father with a problem. That is when you most need to pray. Never feel you are too unworthy to pray.

I know that what you have read here from Richard G. Scott is true that we need to make sure that before we get out of bed and before we go to sleep at night time we need to make sure we have our own personal prayers to our Heavenly Father and during those times when we pray to him we should include our gratitude and thank him for the things he has provided for us. We should express to our Heavenly Father our worries and concerns and we really should open up to him he knows whats best for us and he knows how to help us. He already knows what we are about to say but he always is there at the door kncoking but its our choice if we will "open the door to let him in" and accpet his help he has for us. I know that God does listen and answers to our prayers. Sometimes answers don't come right away but they do come and we need to be ready to accpet the answers we are given. I encourage those who think they are not worthy to pray to take my challenge and pray to our Heavenly Father and I guranteed you he is going to listen to you and answer all the questions you will have and I know this will happen becuasee it has happned to me before.
